IMO, where we're at in the Eternal Now is not only the best place to be for our soul's growth, it's also the ONLY place that we have access to. We can learn from the past as we know about it from our memories, and plan how we would like our future to be, but it's the decisions we make and act on right now that CREATE the environment we will be living in during the immediate future.

Personally, I believe it wiser to "Try to make all your good experiences part of you and to avoid doing so with bad experiences. And this means ALL experience, physical and non-physical, past, present, and future."
