Very Strange

Sitting, waiting for my takeout, a stranger walked by, looked me in the eye, smiled and said 'Hi Etoy'.

I never saw this person before. My given name is very rare, unless your Native American.
Been wondering about this off and on since it happened.

Anyone else have a strange happening like this???

Every once in a while when I'm in public, someone I don't recognize
will address me by one of first names I'm currently using, but it's no big
deal because everyone who actually knows me is aware that I have poor
eyesight and hearing and will tell me who they are. If the person doesn't just walk
away when I don't immediately reply but tries to start a conversation,
then I'm the one who walks away.

One big difference RR, you are known for WIH.
I have not published anything, nor has a picture me been on the net or anywhere else. The last picture taken of me was over 15 years ago, not counting drivers license.

There is a vast difference between us.

Yeah, you're right, and one proof of this happened only a couple
of weeks ago. I was walking past a building that's being retrofitted
to withstand earthquakes, and somehow stumbled over a sawhorse
or something and slammed head first into the plywood temporary
wall. I was knocked silly for a couple of minutes and dropped the
cloth bags of groceries I was carrying.

Only a few seconds after the accident, a couple of young men
I didn't recognize came up, calling my name and asking if I was
OK. I said I was, but they stayed there and kept talking to me
just to make sure I really was. So I said I didn't remember
their names and they told me, but they added that they'd
never formally met me but "everyone around here knows you
by sight."

Yes! You are correct on all three points.

I don't think so. My Guides would have picked up on what was
happening and sent me a warning, as they have quite a few
times in the past.
