| IMO, We should create a nation called "BLUE AMERICA" that exists only in the cyberworld but represents a reality many of us would like to see created in the physical world.
BLUE AMERICA would contain only the heavily urbanized cities and counties in the present USA and be "magically" protected from physical invasion by the RED AMERICA surrounding it. The government would be based on an up-dated model of the present US Constitution which existed in the same sense as "The Mind of God" exists in the physical world: most people believe it's there, but no sane individual would venture to give an exact description of it. Hillary Clinton would be President, Barrack Obama would be President Emeritus, and Elizabeth Warren would be Chief Justice of the SCOTUS. Democrats would occupy about 80% of the seats in both Houses of Congress, and the military wouldn't get mentioned at all.
Donald Trump or a successor to him would be President of RED AMERICA, and there would be only limited trade and travel between the two nations "pending the establishment of full diplomatic relations" some time in the indefinite future. However, both BLUE and RED AMERICA would trade freely with other nations all over the world by air and by water where that was practical. Anyone in the world with access to the Internet could read most messages in this cyber reality space, but only Citizens of BLUE AMERICA would be allowed to post. Citizens would have to physically reside in the designated urban areas and pass some kind of "citizenship test" (to be worked out before the virtual reality game itself was formally started).
Does anyone believe it would be a good idea to actually work on creating such a cyber reality game? I'd be willing to participate if such a movement gets started, but I'm 74 and in poor health, so I don't have the energy to take any kind of major leadership role. And at the least, I believe there's enough merit in the idea for it to be worth discussing seriously on boards like this one. |

| Dear SR/RR, I've been neglecting you lately - I was sick and there were so many family obligations. It's also my brthday and I am starting a new year. Your thoughts about an alliance of city states (BLUE AMERICA) certainly made me think. Especially when a few days later I read this article on the Guardian: Urban vs Rural in EglandI also realized when I was visiting my dad that he - close to the current head of government - moved out the Capital in 1980 and our antagonism started at that time. Now I did special mantras to appease the situation and I had a nice birthday party but still... Also, the same applies to some of my US family - those that take care of Lily (15). Staunch Republican Trump-supporters though I can be grateful to them in this chield help matter. Last night I dreamed that a new exit opened in the Budapest Metro. That's a signal at the level of collective consciousness. Another healing dream, right before my 56th birthday was that seven giant scyscrapers were about to be built in the middle of Budapest, some with Trump's name on it. But later on, when he is less significant. Decades from now... I will write more... |

| reg: I've been neglecting you lately - I was sick and there were so many family obligations. It's also my birthday and I am starting a new year. RR/SR: For many months now, I've been putting most of my time and energy into posting on Twitter about political matters related to the 2016 US election and have almost completely neglected my own forums, which right now are essentially this one and the RS Yuku Community. Right now, I'm almost certain that there is going to be a severe, world-wide economic collapse within just a few weeks, possibly even days. In fact, it now looks to me like the in-coming Trump Administration here in the USA has already started taking political actions that are certain to trigger such a melt-down very soon. reg: Your thoughts about an alliance of city states (BLUE AMERICA) certainly made me think. Especially when a few days later I read this article on the Guardian: Urban vs Rural in England RR/SR: I just put the complete text of this article in a text file. Of course, it's based on the assumption that "the center will hold", and I'm pretty sure it won't, but it's still the best article on this whole complex subject I've ever read, and I'm recommending everyone who's reading this take a look at it. https://www.theguardian.com/cities/2017/jan/09/donald-trump-divided-empire-urban-rural-america-futurereg: I also realized when I was visiting my dad that he - close to the current head of government - moved out the Capital in 1980 and our antagonism started at that time. Staunch Republican Trump-supporters though I can be grateful to them in this child help matter. RR/SR: I'm wondering how your two families - the one in Budapest and the one in Boston - are going to fare if there is a total economic collapse in the near future. Will any of these people even survive, and if so, how. reg: Last night I dreamed that a new exit opened in the Budapest Metro. That's a signal at the level of collective consciousness. Another healing dream, right before my 56th birthday was that seven giant scyscrapers were about to be built in the middle of Budapest, some with Trump's name on it. But later on, when he is less significant. Decades from now... I will write more... RR/SR: IMO, your Guides are telling you the same things mine are telling me: earthly civilization will survive the coming upheavals and build politico-economic structures that will actually work. However, I've been unable to channel any details about how this will be done. So I'm just taking things day by day... |

IMO, Obama did this to show that from a historical perspective, his eight years as President were an unqualified success. In spite of unrelenting opposition from the Republicans in Congress, the USA is in much better shape economically than it was when he took over. And I assume he's expecting the Trump Administration to be a spectacular failure, which will make him and everyone on his staff look even better. |

| Yes, I agree. Biden is a great guy, though he does not grasp at popularity - a communication professional would say he simply does not look at the eye of his listeners enough times. What he says is pure and good, and Obama's legacy will stand as a great president, despite some smaller failures such as the policies in Arab countries. In fact, Obama is one of the nicest and most intelligent politicians I have ever known and Biden shows himself in the role of someone actually helping another larger benevolent power instead of trying to dominate all and everything which would be the macho paradigm. Congrats. |

I second what you just said, and IMO, if the center holds and there's a Presidential Election in 2020, I can see Biden being elected. And if it doesn't and there's a revolution, I can see Obama, who is only 55 years old, being elected President again under a new Constitution.
